This is an online, *synchronous course designed to focus on literacy skills, and it emphasizes the development and reinforcement of fundamental writing skills, including the writing process. This course examines word choice, writing sentences and paragraphs to effectively convey information, and outlining text for writing. Students also develop reading comprehension skills for detail recollection and to draw conclusions and inferences.
