During meetings, the instructor will discuss with students about their hands-on experience within a company or organization that reinforces the course objectives, terminologies, and tasks as an entry-level Computer Support Specialist. The instructor will encourage students to openly discuss specifics about their assigned externship host site, including interaction with supervisors and staff members, their schedules, duties and tasks, attendance, and the overall workload directly associated with course objectives for the program. The check-ins are inquiry-based learning, cooperative and collaborative learning sessions to maximize learning opportunities to assist students as they seek entry-level employment. This learning reinforces the program objectives and will be assessed through discussions, videos, screen sharing, short assignments, and discussion questions.
