Hello! My name is Rose Nelson, Lead Health Instructor at ASPIRA City College, teaching courses for the Medical Secretary Program and providing administrative support for on-ground and online faculty and staff.
Rose Nelson has certifications in Professional Healthcare Instructor (PHIC), Medical Administrative Assistant (MAAC), Billing & Coding Specialist (BCSC), Electronic Health Records (EHRC) from AMCA. Rose has been with ASPIRA City College as an instructor for over two years and teaching in the post-secondary environment for 16 years. In addition, she has been working with external Allied Health Services organizations for outsourcing projects, performing administrative duties applicable to electronic health records, maintaining health records, scheduling appointments, and processing insurance claims.
